 We are pleased to announce the launching of our website.this we were working out for last 1 year ,getting information in pieces from each members about our society & loading it on the website.This will be another(CSI news letter Rhythm is one- elctronic form of CSI RHYTHM is available on this web site also) bond between our members or you can say "bringing together".
Let me introduce you to this site,Our home page will show you various tabs including history of our local branch as well as CSI headquarters Kolkata.Membership form & criteria are also available.Various activities along with photo gallery has been presented month wise & also activities {whatever available )of previous years.World heart day activities have been highlighted along with this years slogan"work with heart" focussing on "work place wellbeing".
Our achievements including Best Society for year 2004,Mid Term Interventional council Meet 2004 with photogallery etc.Past office holders has been updated as far as possible.
During last 35 years we have lost few senior Members Padmshri Dr S K mukherjee,Prof SR jain,Prof SM jain,Dr VP dixit.Their obituary has been added along with photographs.
Academic section includes interesting cases,ECGs,Interesting Echoes,Some articles for Public awarenes & interest of our members.
Lastly this is not the endbut this is a beginning of a new era of internet revolution & this process of Face-lifting of our website will go on as an ongoing process.Those members who still wants to contribute can send their articles related to cardiology & "beyond Medicine".We will try to accomodate it on our website because this is your own website"for the members,by the members & of the the members".
Lastly I must thank all our senior members Prof GC Sepaha,Dr Vidyut jain,Dr Pradeep Mehta & dr Arvind Pancholia who always encouraged us to Develop this Website.
